Primitives

Create basic 3D shapes to build and prototype your scene.
Read time 1 minuteLast updated 2 days ago

Primitives are simple geometric objects you can add to a scene to block out layouts, prototype interactions, or form the basis of more complex models. They're quick to create and manipulate, so ideal for early design and testing.

Add primitive shapes to your scene

To add a primitive to your scene:
  1. In the Hierarchy panel, select Add (+).
  2. Select Primitives and choose the shape you want to add.
For information on how to work with your new GameObject, refer to Work with GameObjects.
