Unity Studio requirements and compatibility

A list of requirements you need before you can work with Unity Studio.

Before you use Unity Studio, make sure your system meets the following requirements:

Browser support

Unity Studio requires browsers that support WebGPU. For optimum experience, use the desktop version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to access Unity Studio. The following are the most common browsers that support WebGPU:

Google ChromeWebGPU is enabled by default in Chrome version 113+.
Microsoft EdgeWebGPU is enabled by default in 113+.
SafariSafari 17+ (latest version) on macOS and iOS/iPadOS.
FirefoxTo enable WebGPU in Firefox, use Firefox Nightly and then set dom.webgpu.enabled to true.

Unity account

To log in and use Unity Studio, you need a Unity account (Unity ID). If you’re already part of a Unity organization, you can log in with your Unity ID. If you don’t have a Unity ID, you can create one for free.
