New features

The following features are new in this version of Unity Studio:

Open in Asset Manager button

In the Studio Asset Manager window, on the right panel below the Import button, you can now click Open in Asset Manager. This opens the Asset Manager in Unity Cloud and displays the selected asset's details.

Report Bug and Submit Feedback moved to the hamburger menu

The Report Bug and Submit Feedback buttons are now available in the main menu.

Report button in published app

A Report button is visible in all published apps (top-right corner) to let users report problematic content. If a user selects the button, it opens a Google Form in a new tab where users can provide more details about the issue.

Bug fixes

  • Deleted assets from the Asset Manager are no longer shown in the project. If a draft includes deleted assets, the user is notified.
  • Switching from one shader to another now retains the surface type (when supported).
  • Manually assigned textures now load correctly in published applications.
  • Fixed an issue where drafts no longer break when you copy an object that contains a Camera as a child object.
  • Fixed an issue where undo/redo no longer breaks the Camera Preview window. When you work on the UI Canvas, undo actions no longer affect the Camera Preview window’s position or visibility.
