Publish window reference

Use the Publish window to publish your application.

This information covers the properties of the Publish window. For instructions on how to publish, update, and remove your application, refer to Publish and share your application.
To open the Publish window, select Publish in the Hierarchy panel.

Publish window properties

The following table describes the properties of the Publish window before you publish your application:

Property

Description

PlatformChoose the platform you want to publish your application on. Currently, Unity Studio only supports Web.
TitleEnter a name for your project. Your application displays this title to users when they access your application.
PasswordGive your project a password to restrict access. This setting is optional. Enable the toggle to add a password.
CancelSelect to stop the publishing process and close the Publish window.
PublishSelect to publish your application with your selected settings.

Publish window properties (after publish)

If you open the Publish window after you publish your application, the Publish window updates with additional options:

Description

Take offlineSelect to unpublish your application.
Project Web URLThe URL where you can access your published application. Copy and share this URL to give others access to your application.
UpdateSelect to update your published application with any changes you made after the last publish. Replaces the Publish button.

Published successful window properties

After you publish your application to the web, a new window appears with the following properties:

Download Web FilesSelect to download the web files for your application. Option not currently available.
Note
If you close this window after a publish, you can still access the Project Web URL in the Publish window (select Publish in the Hierarchy panel).
