New features

The following features are new in this version of Unity Studio:

New distribution center template

A new "Distribution Center Template" has been added to the drafts. Control a warehouse robot in this distribution center simulation template, which includes a physics simulation.

Click-and-drag support for numeric input fields

Numeric input fields now support click-and-drag value adjustment, making value changes faster and smoother without manual typing.

Automatic default organization pre-selection

Unity Studio now automatically selects an eligible default organization for you; if no entitlement is found, it selects your private organization as before.

Improved color picker positioning and behavior

The color wheel picker now opens beside the Inspector window instead of covering it. It's also draggable, and remembers its last position.

Performance monitoring improvements

Performance monitoring is now less sensitive when you upload large assets, reducing false alarms.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed the No Access popup so it no longer closes when you press Esc. You are now returned to Home or another valid screen without getting stuck on a loading screen.
  • Fixed published drafts so they load correctly and are playable instead of causing an infinite loading screen.
  • Fixed editor panels (such as the Inspector) so they no longer appear during Play mode.
  • Resolved an issue where if you entered Play mode too quick it could cause the app to get stuck. Play mode now works as expected.
  • Fixed material settings so changes are preserved when you switch shaders or enter Play mode.
  • Fixed scrolling in Library search results so it works as expected.
