New features

The following features are new in this version of Unity Studio:

Make a copy of your draft

In the Main menu, use the new Make a copy option to duplicate your draft and rename the duplicate.

Scale adjustment prompt for extreme asset sizes

If you drag assets with an extremely large or small scale into the scene, a prompt now displays that lets you adjust the scale to a reasonable size.

Show less drafts in Home menu

The list of drafts on the Unity Studio Home now has pagination, which splits the draft list into separate pages instead of loading all drafts at once.

New camera alignment buttons for Camera component

The Camera component now has new buttons to help you align your camera:
  • Align with View: Move the scene camera to your current view.
  • Align View to Camera: Move your view to the scene camera.

Bug fixes

  • The default camera visual script now has lower mouse sensitivity.
  • Certain drafts that had issues saving now save and publish without issue.
  • The camera's render distance no longer resets and objects no longer appear clipped or invisible when you re-open a draft.
  • There are no longer errors when you delete an object then re-add it, and the object appears correctly in the hierarchy.
  • When you delete an asset the gizmo and toolbar for that asset now disappears.
  • Editing the Studio URL no longer causes an invalid internal state that prevents publishing.
  • Exceptions no longer occur when you delete an unfrozen draft version and try to reopen a draft with certain imported assets.
