Unity's Developer Data framework provides a flexible, centralized way to manage the lifecycle of Developer Data across Unity’s platform. With it, you can:
  • Control what data is collected, using explicit Collection Settings and based on the Unity products and services you choose to use.
  • Define how that data is used, not just in relation to the products and services you use but also across a range of optional scenarios through Usage Settings.
  • Link external datasets (like Google Analytics) and manage them as Developer Data using the same controls in the Unity Dashboard.
  • Enforce consent-aware behavior through the framework’s built-in Consent Mode.
  • Propagate changes on the fly from the Unity Dashboard to the Editor—and even to your live apps that have already been installed.
The Developer Data framework marks a paradigm shift in how Unity approaches data management, privacy, and transparency—reinforcing our commitment to empowering customer success through control, clarity, and trust.
