Configure a project for Unity Cloud

How to configure a project for Unity Cloud

Projects that you create using the Unity Editor or the Unity Hub are assigned a Unity Cloud project ID by default. If you need to link a Unity Editor project to a Unity Cloud project, two alternatives are available:
  • Create a project ID from the Unity Editor
  • Link the Unity Editor project to an existing Unity Cloud project
To retrieve your project ID from the Unity Cloud, follow these steps:
  1. Go the Unity Cloud Home page.
  2. Go to Projects, and then select the project that you want to use.
  3. From the Project details section, copy the project ID.
To link your project from the Unity Editor, follow these steps:
  1. Open your project in the Unity Editor.
  2. Select Edit > Project Settings, and then select Services.
  3. Add a project ID in one of the following ways:
    • Link the Unity Editor project to an existing Unity Cloud project:
      1. Select Use an existing Unity project ID.
      2. Select a Unity Cloud organization and a Unity Cloud project, and then select Link project ID. You must be signed in to the Unity Hub.
    • Create a project ID:
      1. Select Create a new Unity project ID.
      2. Select a Unity Cloud organization, and then select Create a new Unity project ID. You must be signed in to the Unity Hub.
Your project is now linked to a Unity Cloud project. After you've added a project ID, the Services General Settings window displays additional settings. You can unlink the project and define a COPPA compliance setting.
