Offenses
An offense is a violation of a community’s rule or an otherwise offensive action performed by a player in the community. Unity Moderation categorizes offenses by offense type. The player reporting the incident (the reporter) selects the type of offense before reporting the incident.
Unity Moderation has the following types of offenses.

Cheat/Tempering | Exploiting | The player used cheats or exploits. An exploit is the use of a bug or glitch (or use of elements of a game system) in a manner not intended by the game's designers, in a way that gives a substantial unfair advantage to players using it. |
Aim snapping | The player used aim snapping to gain an unfair advantage. | |
Unrealistic movement | The player used tampering to move in an impossible way in the game. | |
Hacking | The player used exploits or cheating software to gain information about the match and players that they shouldn’t have access to. | |
Boosting | The player is artificially achieving in-game rewards or benefits like wins, stats, or some other metrics. | |
Smurfing | The player used a lower-ranked account to play with low-rank players to gain an unfair advantage. | |
Disruption | Left match early | The player left the game before the match or game session ended. |
Sabotage | The player intentionally played poorly with the intent to lose the game. | |
Collusion with opponent | The player coordinated with the opponent to purposely cooperate to gain an unfair advantage in a scenario. | |
Inactive | The player was inactive during the match or game session. | |
Spamming | The player flooded communication channels with excessive messages or voice. | |
Inappropriate communications | Hate speech | The player used abusive or threatening speech. This includes (but isn’t limited to) expressing prejudice based on ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or similar grounds. |
Predatory behavior | The player used a position of authority to abuse or exploit others. This type of behavior might include (but isn’t limited to) deliberate attempts to entrap or entice others to commit sexual misconduct. | |
Scamming | The player advocated for a scam (a deceptive scheme or trick used to cheat someone out of something, especially money). | |
Verbal abuse | The player verbally abused another player. Verbal abuse is a form of emotional abuse where someone uses their words to invoke fear in another person and gain control over them. | |
Threats | The player threatened another player. | |
Ads | The player advertised something in the communication | |
Noise disruption | The player disrupted a channel with cluttered noise like background music or static. | |
Inappropriate content | Player username | Username contains offensive or inappropriate content. |
