Manage test allocations

Note: The content on this page pertains to Game Server Hosting (Multiplay) available on the Unity Cloud Dashboard. If you’re using Game Server Hosting (Clanforge), refer to the Game Server Hosting (Clanforge) documentation.

You can manage test allocations from the Unity Cloud Dashboard.

Test allocations give you a way to quickly make an allocation request. This is useful for testing your game server while you are developing it and don't have a matchmaker configured yet.

Both a test allocation and normal allocations behave the same way. A test allocation additionally has tracking information allowing it to be shown on the Unity Cloud Dashboard.

Note: Test allocations currently dont support allocations payloads.
