Player segments

Player segments allow you to configure the types of players you want to see identified. This could be players who are more at risk of suffering toxicity, displaying toxic behavior, or displaying exemplary behavior.

  • Vulnerable players are defined according to their behavior and/or vocal traits and the amount of toxicity and disruption are exposed to.
  • Toxic players are defined according to their behavior and/or vocal traits and the amount of toxicity and disruption they caused.
  • Exemplary players are defined according to their behavior and/or vocal traits and the positive impact they have.

If a player is identified as belonging to a player segment, it is marked in the player segment column.

Configure a player segment

Select the + Add button in the Player Segments table to configure a new player segment. To duplicate or edit an existing segment, select the (...) menu.

The following information is needed to configure a new player segment:

  • Segment name: The name used in the Session results table.
  • Segment Type: The category the player segment belongs to.
  • Vocal traits: The traits used to identify the type of player. Any player with the selected vocal trait will be classified as belonging to the player segment if they are exposed to the segment's behaviors. If no vocal traits are selected, vocal traits will not be considered as part of the identification. Currently, only the following traits can be chosen:
    • Feminine: A higher, softer, sharper/lively voice, usually attributed to players who identify as female.
    • Masculine: A deeper, thicker, monotone/flat voice, usually attributed to players who identify as male.
  • Behavioral requirements: Defines the behaviors that must occur betwen this player and others to include the player in the segment:
    • Required behaviors from player: Specify the behaviors players must demonstrate to be included in this segment.
    • Required behaviors towards others: Specify the behaviors other players must demonstrate towards this player to include the player in the segment.

Both the Required behaviors from player and Required behaviors towards others sections can define the set of required (must be present) or disqualifying (must not be present) tags in the session. The segment can also require either all the tags defined or any of them.
