Configure Gluon
Connect your Gluon application to a server so that you can access your repositories.
Gluon installs with the Unity DevOps Version Control application. If you don't have the application, refer to download the desktop client.
Connect to a cloud server
- Sign in to your Unity account.
- Add a new repository or choose one from the list and select Download repository.
- In the new dialog, enter a workspace name and location. You can enter a location, or use the Browse button to select one from a list.
- After all information is entered, select Download.
Connect to an on-premises server
- Select Connect to an on-premises server.
- Enter the server IP address and port. To find the server , either select Scan network or contact your system admin (
sysadmin
).- Select Connect so that the server can detect the user authentication mode.
- Verify that your username is correct, then enter your password (if applicable). If your username is incorrect, select Check, and the server allows you to choose your username from a list.
- Add a new repository or choose one from the list and select Download repository.
- In the new dialog, enter a workspace name and location. You can enter a location, or use the Browse button to select one from a list.
- After all information is entered, select Download.
