Analytics settings
You can enable or disable data collection from the Unity Cloud Dashboard.
Open Analytics in the Unity Cloud Dashboard and select Analytics Settings. Select the Analytics enabled toggle to disable; by default it's enabled.
Once data collection is disabled on your project, no data is collected from players from that point onwards. You can still access previously collected data in the dashboard but this might have an impact on features or services that rely on real-time Analytics to provide segmentation or reporting.
Note: This does not prevent games from recording or uploading events. The logic in your game will still execute as before, but the events will not be injested by the Analytics platform.
When enabling Analytics, data collection is resumed for the project but it may take approximately 1 hour for data to show in the dashboard again.
When disabling Analytics, data collection is stopped and your dashboards won't be updated with any new data. This might impact:
- Audience targeting in Game Overrides
- Reporting for your Game Overrides
- Metrics shown on the project overview dashboard
