Important: This is documentation for the legacy version of the Vivox Unity SDK. Refer to the v16 documentation for the new version of the SDK.
The Vivox SDK is a voice and text chat system that brings in-app communications to your project. Vivox has built-in support for text analysis through Safe Text.
Vivox features
- Cross-platform functionality

- Group voice and text communication services
Game developers can integrate these capabilities directly into game clients and companion applications by using the Vivox SDK.
Vivox offers additional features for speech-to-text transcriptions and text-to-speech for better accessibility for users. It also offers additional safety features through Safe Text to help reduce in-game toxicity.
Note: Starting in the 15.1.160000 release, the Vivox Unity SDK that is distributed in the Vivox Developer Portal and the Unity Package Manager uses a different version structure than what was used for previous Vivox Unity SDK v5 releases.
