Failure to scale up

The most likely reason why a fleet region would fail to scale up is that the fleet region has met the maximum servers value. When a fleet or fleet region meets the maximum servers value, it can't scale up any more game servers unless you increase the maximum servers value.

The following list details other reasons why a fleet region might fail to scale up.

  • The fleet region’s default profile has a game image that fails to start. Refer to why a game image might fail to start.
  • The customer success team explicitly disabled scaling on the fleet because of an open support ticket or by request.
