| Channel | A Vivox entity that users can join to interact with other users via voice chat |
| Screening | Recording and analyzing a defined section of time of a currently existing channel resulting in a session and its analysis. |
| Session | An audio conversation between multiple speakers with a defined length and a constant number of speakers. Safe Voice stores sessions in an archive containing one audio file per speaker. |
| Tracks | Audio of a single speaker within a session, stored in an audio file. |
