Use the following instructions to set up App Category targeting for your Unity Ads User Acquisition campaign.

Target all app categories

Targeting all categories is the default setting for category targeting. You can do the following to ensure your campaign is configured correctly:
  1. Go to the Category targeting section of your Campaign settings.
  2. Select Target all categories.
  3. If the setting wasn't already enabled, select Save.

Select individual app categories

Do the following to select which categories you want to target manually:
  1. Go to the Category targeting card of your Campaign settings.
  2. Choose Select categories to display the category groups.
  3. Select the checkboxes next to all the categories you want your campaign to target. To target all categories in a group, use Select All.
  4. Select Save to keep your changes and close the category groups.

Exclude individual app categories

To target all categories except for those you exclude manually, do the following:
  1. Go to the Category targeting section of your Campaign settings.
  2. Select Exclude categories to display the exclusion category groups.
  3. Select the checkboxes next to all the categories you don't want to target in your campaign. To exclude all categories in a group, use Select All.
  4. Select Save to keep your changes and close the category groups.
Note
It isn't possible to both allow and block app categories in the same campaign.
