Anchor search
You can use this method if you have previously placed a model and saved an anchor lock in it. The next time you load the model while online, you can search for the anchor lock and activate it to place the model.
This method is not suitable during early stages of construction. At a minimum, the floor and walls must exist on the site.
Note: Anchor locks do not appear during the search until you are in close to their location. It is good practice to document where you place anchor locks.
Prerequisites:
- The model contains at least one anchor lock.
- Steps in the General loading procedure have been completed.
Place the model with an anchor lock
To choose anchor lock placement:
- If the model contains anchor locks, the message, Searching for anchor locks, automatically appears.
- If you have reset the model placement, the Placement Options pop-up appears. Tap Anchor on the placement pop-up. Confirm your selection.
A radial scan indicates if the area has not been adequately scanned. Thoroughly scan the area.
Move towards the location of the anchor lock you want to use to place the model. The anchor will appear. It activates when you approach within 10 feet.
Tap Done.
When asked if you want to lock the model to the anchor, tap Yes.
The model moves into alignment with the site.
