Attention: VisualLive is not available for purchase on visuallive.com after May 1, 2023, and can only be purchased through a Unity client partner until June 30, 2023. Maintenance support as outlined in the terms of service ends either May 1, 2024 or one year after purchase; with no new features added and only minor bug fixes supported.

Work offline

You can work in offline mode (without a Wi-Fi connection) for up to 48 hours of runtime. After that, you must sign in while connected to WiFi to authenticate your account.

Remaining offline time is displayed in the VisualLive user menu.

 

Prepare for working offline

Do the following before you move to an environment without Wi-Fi:

  1. Open VisualLive for Hololens.

  2. Enter your credentials on the login page. Ensure that Remember Me is selected. Tap Login.

  3. Download the model(s) you intend to use offline.

    1. In the main menu, on the Cloud tab, select your model file.
    2. Tap Sync. The file is downloaded and appears on the Synced tab.

  4. Note: It is also possible to push a model directly to your device from the VisualLive plugin.

  5. Do not log out. Close the VisualLive app.

Start working in offline mode

Open the app in offline mode as follows:

  1. Open VisualLive.
  2. On the login page, select your profile and tap Offline Mode.

On the main menu, only models on the Synced tab are available.
