Use Active Directory authentication to authenticate Unity Version Control (UVCS) users with your organization's Active Directory.
注
This mode requires the UVCS server to run on Windows.

How Active Directory authentication works

In Active Directory mode, UVCS gets the user list from the current Active Directory main server, and builds the security identifier (SEID) with a Windows security identifier (SID).

Multiple domains

You can use Active Directory authentication in single-domain or multi-domain environments. If you use UVCS in an Active Directory forest with multiple domains, enter user names and groups in the
DOMAIN\username
and
DOMAIN\group
format.

Set the reload time for users and groups

By default, the UVCS server reloads user and group information from the authentication provider every five minutes.
To change the reload time, set
ReloadUsersRefreshTimeSpan
in the
server.conf
file. The value uses the
[d.]hh:mm:ss
format.
For example, the following setting refreshes user and group information every hour:
<ReloadUsersRefreshTimeSpan>01:00:00</ReloadUsersRefreshTimeSpan>
