Follow this workflow to set up Vivox Safe Text in your Unity project.

To set up Safe Text for a Unity project, complete the following steps.
  1. Create a Unity account.
  2. Create a project on the Unity Dashboard.
  3. In the Unity Dashboard, go to Development > Products.
  4. Select Vivox Voice and Text Chat.
  5. If this is your first time launching Vivox Safe Text the guided setup flow begins.

Safe Text guided setup

The following guide will be prompted after you select Begin guided setup from the Vivox tab in the Unity Dashboard.
  1. Follow the onboarding steps after selecting Begin guided setup.
    • During the onboarding process you will be prompted to select your game engine and install Vivox Voice and Text Chat.
  2. Select Safe Text under Optional services(s).
  3. Link your Unity project through the Unity Editor.
  4. To configure the service, add the Moderation package through the Unity Package Manager.
    • Text filtering is disabled by default. It can be enabled from the Settings page after setup.
  5. Select Finish.
