An Offerwall card (also known as content cards) is a specific configuration of an offerwall. Offerwall configuration changes require no code changes and are managed entirely through the Tapjoy dashboard. Multiple Offerwall cards can be configured under a single placement. When a placement is called for an Offerwall, Tapjoy will go through the listed Offerwall cards and display the first one that matches the targeting criteria for the user. In the example below, under the Main_Menu_Button placement, there are three different Offerwall cards, each targeting segments of users based on geographical location. A different Offerwall configuration will be displayed depending on where the user is located.

The recommended best practice is to set up Offerwall cards by user segments to ensure you're targeting the right content to the right users. For more information, refer to Targeting. If your offerwall card is being shown in a contextual placement, you can enable Message to Earn to help maximize your revenue. If you are unsure how to best optimize for a user segment, use our A/B testing tool.

Create an Offerwall

  1. Go to your app in the Tapjoy Dashboard.
  2. Click Monetization in the top menu bar
  3. Navigate to Create Content on the left side navigation bar.
  4. Select Offerwall Plus.
  5. Fill out the resulting form, setting the user segmentation, placement, schedule, and virtual currency you want to use for that placement. If you want the Offerwall to appear, you must attach it to at least one placement that gets called in the application.

FAQ

Can I use one Offerwall for both Android and iOS versions of my application? No, you can't. Content belongs to only one platform at a time. Check the platform before you create the content, as the platform cannot be changed after the creation of the content unit.
