Performance dashboard metrics reference

Learn about the metrics available in Tapjoy Monetization dashboard to analyze your app's ad performance.

Use the following Tapjoy Monetization dashboard metrics to assess performance. You can access these metrics in various locations on the dashboard, including the following pages from the left navigation menu:
  • Overview
  • Your app > App overview
  • Your app > Placement

Description

RevenueThe total ad revenue earned from all apps, per app, or per placement, depending on the dashboard page.
OW OpensOfferwall opens: the total number of times an offerwall is launched in your app.
eCPMEffective cost per mille: the average ad revenue earned per 1000 OW Opens.
ConversionsThe total number of times a unique user completed a billable event.
Avg DAUAverage daily active users (DAU): the average number of unique users who engage with your app in a 24-hour period.This is calculated by summing the daily active users in the selected timeframe and then dividing the total by the number of days. A DAU on multiple days is counted once per day.

Timeframe: Monday to WednesdayDAU per day:
  • Monday: 60
  • Tuesday: 50
  • Wednesday: 40
Total DAU: 60 + 50 + 40 = 150Number of days: 3Avg DAU: 150÷3 = 50
Avg DUVAverage daily unique views (DUV): the average number of unique users who view an offerwall in an app in a 24-hour period.This is calculated by summing the daily unique views in the selected timeframe and then dividing the total by the number of days. A unique viewer on multiple days is counted once per day.

Timeframe: Monday to WednesdayDUV per day:
  • Monday: 40
  • Tuesday: 30
  • Wednesday: 20
Total DUV: 40 + 30 + 20 = 90Number of days: 3Avg DUV: 90÷3 = 30
Avg DUCAverage daily unique conversions (DUC): the average number of unique users who complete a billable event in a 24-hour period.This is calculated by summing the daily unique conversions in the selected timeframe and then dividing the total by the number of days. A unique conversion on multiple days is counted once per day per user.

Timeframe: Monday to WednesdayDUC per day:
  • Monday: 30
  • Tuesday: 20
  • Wednesday: 10
Total DUC: 30 + 20 + 10 = 60Number of days: 3Avg DUC: 60÷3 = 20
DUV÷DAUThe engagement rate of daily active users: the proportion of DAU who viewed an offerwall in your app.This is calculated by dividing the number of DUV by the number of DAU.
DUC÷DUVThe conversion rate of daily active views: the proportion of DUV who complete a billable event.This is calculated by dividing the number of DUC by the number of DUV.
ARPDAUAverage revenue per daily active user: this is calculated by dividing the total revenue by the total number of DAU in the selected timeframe. A DAU on multiple days is counted once per day.

Timeframe: Monday to WednesdayRevenue per day:
  • Monday: $300
  • Tuesday: $400
  • Wednesday: $500
DAU per day:
  • Monday: 40
  • Tuesday: 50
  • Wednesday: 30
Total revenue: 300+400+500 = $1200Total DAU: 40+50+30 = 120ARPDAU: 1200÷120 = $10
ARPDUVAverage revenue per daily unique viewer: this is calculated by dividing the total revenue by the total number of DUV in the selected timeframe. A DUV on multiple days is counted once per day.
