Create an Event optimization campaign

Create a Payer or Retention campaign in the Unity User Acquisition dashboard.

Event campaigns optimize for users predicted to engage with your app after installation. Refer to the following instructions to set up a new Event Optimization campaign in the Unity User Acquisition dashboard.

Prerequisites

Before you create a new Event Optimization campaign, you must first Add an app to the dashboard.

Create a new Event Optimization campaign

To create an Event Optimization campaign, do the following from the Campaigns page of the User Acquisition dashboard:
  1. Select Create to open the campaign creation flow.
  2. Select your app from the Select app dropdown. If you haven't added your app to the dashboard yet, select Add app.
  3. In the Select a campaign goal section, select Event Optimization.
  4. In the Select event section, choose your event type from the following options:
    • Payer
    • Retention
    Refer to the Introduction to Event Optimization campaigns for information on each event type.
  5. Name your campaign and select Create.
  6. To set your campaign live, configure the Required campaign settings.
