Explore the configuration files in your server installation directory.

Find or create the following configuration files in your Unity Version Control (UVCS) server installation directory.

Configuration file	Description
`cryptedservers.conf`	Set up encryption in Plastic Cloud (Deprecated).
`externaldata.conf`	Store the external locations (paths) of stored revisions when you archive a revision. Refer to Archive revisions.
`gitserver.conf`	Configure GitServer.
`groups.conf`	Store user groups. Refer to Authentication configuration.
`jet.conf`	Store settings for how UVCS works with Jet. Refer to Respository storage.
`lock.conf`	Store rules to configure exclusive checkouts. Refer to Configure lock rules.
`mergerules.conf`	Store merge rules. Refer to Set up merge rules.
`network.conf`	Store listening port configuration values. Refer to more information on Network configuration.
`server.conf`	Store server settings, such as the authentication mode and audit log level. Refer to more information on Advanced server configuration.
`users.conf`	Store users. Refer to Authentication configuration.
