Server configuration
Configure the settings for your server.

After you install your Unity Version Control (UVCS) server, configure the server to your needs.
To configure the server, run the command line admin tool as an administrator:
- On Windows:
plasticd configure - On Linux:
/opt/plasticscm5/server/plasticd configure - On macOS:
/Applications/PlasticSCMServer.app/Contents/MacOS/plasticd configure
Configure the required settings:
Setting | Description |

| Language | Type the number of the language you want to use to configure the UVCS server. |
| Server port numbers | Enter the server port numbers you want to use: TCP port: by default, UVCS uses 8087 as the TCP port number. If you change this port, you need to set up UVCS clients to the new port. SSL port: by default, the SSL secured port is 8088. |
| Users authentication mode | Select one of the authentication mechanisms available. For more information, refer to Configure authentication. |
| Autorenewal for subscription licenses | Press Enter to skip. To auto renew the license and download the new one, paste your license token. You can find your license token on the Version Control > Seats > On-Prem page of the Unity Dashboard. |
