Rename or delete a saved anchor in AR mode
This feature works best on a device with LiDAR; it can be difficult to locate anchor locks on devices without LiDAR.
Note: You can also can delete anchor locks from models that you own in the VisualLive portal. This can be useful if it is difficult to access an anchor lock or your device cannot detect it. See Delete Anchors.
Prerequisite: To delete or rename an anchor in AR mode, you must be connected to Wi-Fi.
Rename or delete an anchor in AR mode
If the model alignment tools menu is open, tap Done.
Move to the vicinity of the anchor to make it appear in the view.
Tap the anchor lock. A dialog box opens with the anchor’s current name (by default this is an ID number), and options to rename and save, or delete the anchor lock.
- To rename the anchor lock, type the new name in the field with the anchor lock ID and tap Save.
- To delete the anchor lock, tap Delete .
