Progress tracking
VisualLive lets you track the real-world installation status of your model pieces.
Set up progress tracking
Clickable Model Objects must be enabled. Airtap the alignment button to open the Clickable Model Objects menu pop-up.
- Start Tracking allows you to select the parts of your model that have been installed.
- Generate Report pushes this tracking information to your cloud report as a spreadsheet.
In the Progress Tracking menu, models are color-coded: Installed pieces are green and Not Installed pieces are orange.
Create a custom status
In addition to tracking installation status, you can also can create and track a custom status.
To create a custom status:
- Select Create New.
- Enter a name and color for the new status.
- Select Create.
Tap on model objects to label them with the new status
View statistics
It is possible to view different statistics of the model. Linear footage is automatically tracked, but there is also a drop-down option for statistics that shows any properties that were pushed with the model. For example, if there is a property named Planks and an object is marked with a numerical value for that property, then Install Tracking shows the total value of installed planks.

- Pie Chart: Displays the percentage of objects with each status attached in your model.
- Total Installed: Tells you how much of the total model is already installed based on the number of model pieces that have been marked Installed.
