If a client application needs to provide the ability for users to listen to multiple channels at the same time, use session groups to more easily manage channels (sessions).

A session group is a local, application-side container that tracks one or more sessions (channel connections). A session group doesn't create any shared association among other participants, not even with participants in the same session.
