Create annotations
Create and attach annotations to comments as visual feedback.

Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you meet the following requirement:- You have the Consumer or higher role in the Asset Manager project.
Create annotations
To create annotations and attach them to comments:- Select an asset. The side panel opens.
- At the bottom of the side panel, expand the Preview section to open the viewer.
- Select Annotate. The annotation toolbar appears.
- Select the appropriate annotation tool to draw, mark, or highlight areas on the model.
- Add a comment in the comment panel. If the comment panel is hidden, select the expand button to open the comment panel.
- Select the Submit icon to save the annotation as an attachment with the comment.
Note
- Annotations are linked to comments and threads:
- If you don't select a thread and submit an annotation, it creates a new thread.
- If you select a thread and submit an annotation, it's added as a new comment in that thread.
Note
Each new camera angle or use of spatial markers creates a new annotation.
