Download assets
How to download Unity Cloud assets for use in a local project or another application.

You can download assets from the Asset Manager interface or through the Asset Manager for Unity Editor. You can use these Unity Cloud assets in local projects or prepare them for use in different applications.
Asset files
Each Unity Cloud asset consists of multiple files, which include:
- The source file uploaded by the person who added the asset to the Asset Manager Project.
- Preview files that are generated by the system to enable the preview of your asset.
You can download the entire Unity Cloud asset, or only specific files for it.
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure you meet the following prerequisites:
- You must have at least the Consumer role in the Asset Manager Project from which you want to download assets.
Download a Unity Cloud asset from web
You can download Unity Cloud assets from multiple places in the Asset Manager interface. Do any of the following:
- From the right side panel:
- Select Open.
- Select Download all source files or Select files.
- From the Files tab on the right side panel:
- Select Download All or select the Dataset or the Files you want to download and select Download.
- From the More Items menu (three dots on top right corner) of an asset, dataset or file:
- Select Download.
Download all files of your asset
To download all files of your asset at once:
- Select the asset you want. A panel appears on the right side.
- Select Open.
- Select Download all source files or Select files. The system generates a ZIP that contains all the files for the asset.
Download specific files for an asset
To download a specific file from the asset:
- Select the asset you want. A panel appears on the right side.
- Select the Files tab.
- Select the individual files you want to download.
- Select Download.
Download directly to your Unity Editor project
To download assets from Asset Manager web to your local project, use the Asset Manager for Unity Editor package.
