You can use the server administration console, or the command on the command line. Both tools update the and files.

Use the User and password configuration section of the server administration console to:
- Create users and groups.
- Assign users to groups.
- Change user passwords.
- Rename or delete users and groups.
Each user sets their sign-in name and password in the client configuration wizard. If the credentials don't match, the desktop application displays a sign-in screen at startup. The user enters the correct credentials there.
