Create and use UI Canvases in Unity Studio and add UI elements to the canvas.

This guide explains how to create a new UI Canvas in your draft and how to populate it with UI elements.
Create a UI Canvas
To create a UI Canvas:
- In the Hierarchy, click the + button to open the Create menu.
- Select UI > UI Canvas. A new Canvas appears in the Hierarchy panel and the Scene view.
Add UI elements to the Canvas
There are many UI elements you can add to a UI Canvas. For a list of available UI elements, refer to UI Elements available in Unity Studio.
To add UI elements to the UI Canvas:
- In the Hierarchy panel, select the canvas.
- In the Hierarchy panel, select + > UI.
- Select the UI element you want to add.
The new UI element appears in the Hierarchy panel as a child of the canvas.
