Set up notifications for Diagnostics events
Configure your project integrations settings to receive email and push notifications about Diagnostics events.

Set up email and push notifications to stay informed about Diagnostics events that occur in your Unity organization, such as crash reports.
You can receive notifications for Diagnostics events through the following integrations:
- Discord
- Microsoft Teams
- Slack
- Webhooks
Notifications are available for the following Diagnostics events.
Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Diagnostics New Issue | This event occurs when a crash, exception, or Application Not Responding (ANR) issue appears for the first time. |
| Diagnostics Issue Milestone | This event occurs when the same issue passes 100 or 1000 occurrences. |
| Diagnostics New Issue Version | This event occurs when a previously-known crash, exception, or ANR issue appears on a different application version. |
| Diagnostics New Issue Milestone | This event occurs when the same issue passes 100 and 1000 occurrences on a specific application version. |
You can configure which audiences receive Diagnostics notifications. Email notifications can be sent to all or specific members of your project, whereas push notifications are sent to a specific channel in the associated app. For information about how to modify an existing integration to change where notifications are sent, refer to Modify integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you can configure notifications for Diagnostics events, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have the Owner or Manager user role in the project.
- Have a server for any collaboration tool you want to add as an integration. For example, Slack or Microsoft Teams.

Configure Diagnostics notifications
To configure which Diagnostics events send notifications, follow these steps:
- Depending on whether you want to add or modify an integration, complete one of the following procedures:
- In the Select topics section, select the Diagnostics events you want to send notifications:
- Diagnostics Issue
- Diagnostics Issue Milestone
- Diagnostics New Issue Version
- Diagnostics Issue Version Milestone
- Select Save or Authorize, depending on which procedure you follow.
