You can only access secrets stored in Secret Manager through integrations. The client API is not available for direct access. Each integration may suggest a different workflow to access secrets stored in Secret Manager to suit the specific use case.

Access

The integrations can only access the secrets stored in Secret Manager that have allowed access for the integration. For instance, if you want to retrieve a secret in Cloud Code, you must allow Cloud Code access to the secret.
