Align a GameObject to the grid
Align a GameObject to the nearest grid point on a single axis or on all axes at once.

You can align or push a GameObject to either the closest grid point on a single axis or on all axes at once.
To align a GameObject to the closest point on a grid for a specific axis:
- In the Grid and Snap overlay, select the downward facing arrow next to Toggle grid snapping to open the Snapping menu.
- In the Align Selected property, select the X, Y, or Z button that matches the grid axis you want to align to.
To align a GameObject to all axes at once:

Select the GameObject you want to align to the grid.

Do one of the following:
- Press Ctrl+** (macOS: Cmd+**) to push the GameObject onto the grid on all axes.
- In the Grid and Snap overlay, select the downward facing arrow next to Toggle grid snapping to open the Snapping menu. In the Align Selected property, select All Axes.
