Use Unity Build Automation (UBA) to help you monitor and control your consumption costs. Set limits and configure notifications to stay within your budget and optimize your build workflows.

Build minutes monthly cap

Use the build minutes monthly cap feature to control your spending on build minutes across macOS and Windows builders. You can specify a dollar amount to restrict additional build usage beyond the set cap. To set your monthly cap:
  1. In the Unity Dashboard, navigate to Build Automation > Settings > Build Consumption.
  2. Enable the Build minutes monthly cap option.
  3. Specify the Dollar Amount to set as your monthly cap.
  4. Select Save to save your changes.

Monthly cap reminder

Use the monthly cap reminder to receive email notifications as you approach your build minutes cap. This ensures you're informed before you exceed your monthly cap. To set a monthly cap reminder:
  1. In the Unity Dashboard, navigate to Build Automation > Settings > Build Consumption.
  2. Enable the Monthly cap reminder.
  3. Specify the Dollar Amount for when you will receive notifications.
  4. Select Save to save your changes.

Concurrency cap

Use the concurrency cap to limit the number of concurrent builds. When you reach the limit of concurrent builds, UBA queues requested builds. This controls resource usage and makes costs more predictable. To set a concurrency cap:
  1. In the Unity Dashboard, navigate to Build Automation > Settings > Build Consumption.
  2. In the Concurrency cap section, set Unity Concurrency limit to the maximum number of concurrent builds.
  3. Select Save to save your changes.
