Manage the Cloud Repositories project
Grant or revoke access to the Cloud Repositories project, or convert it to standard Unity organization and project permissions.

Use these tasks if your organization has a Cloud Repositories project, which holds the Unity Version Control (UVCS) repositories that your organization had before the permissions change on April 14, 2025.
Choose what to do:
- Keep the project's access model and manage members individually.
- Convert the project to standard permissions so that repository access follows Unity organization and project permissions.

Grant or revoke repository access
Access to the repositories in the Cloud Repositories project depends on project membership.
To grant a user in your organization access to the repositories in the Cloud Repositories project, add the user to the Cloud Repositories project as a project member.
To revoke a user's access to the repositories in the Cloud Repositories project, remove the user as a project member.
Convert to standard permissions
If you convert your Cloud Repositories project to standard permissions, the standard Unity organization and project permission model applies.

After you convert the Cloud Repositories project, all members of the Unity organization and project gain access to all repositories in the project.
To convert the permissions:
- In the Unity Dashboard, open the Cloud Repositories project.
- Go to Development > Products.
- Select DevOps.
- Select Version Control > Permissions.
- Select Convert to standard permissions, then confirm the action.
- Update the access settings for the project as needed.
After you convert the project, repository access follows the Unity organization and project permissions.
