Provide a code review

Provide a code review in Unity Version Control.

Add comments

You can add and reply to general comments in the Conversation tab.

Ask questions and request changes

In the Changed Files tab, you can add questions or change requests to specific sections of code:
  1. Go to the file that you want to add a comment to. For more information, refer to [Navigate a code review].
  2. Select the blue + icon to the left side of the line of code. To highlight multiple lines of code, select the icon and drag it across the lines you want to include.
  3. Write your comment.
    • You can use the formatting tools to present information clearly.
    • To preview the comment and its formatting, select Preview.
  4. Select either Ask a question or Request a change.

Change the review status

When all change requests have been resolved, you can mark the code review as Reviewed.
To mark your code review as reviewed:
  1. On your code review page, select Mark review.
  2. Select Reviewed > Mark as reviewed.
