Unity Version Control

cm find

Overview of the cm find command in Unity Version Control CLI.
Read time 1 minuteLast updated 12 days ago

Use the
cm find
query system to get specific information about objects in your version control system, such as changesets, branches, labels, merges, and more. You can also use the
find
command to customize the views in the GUI. This query system is similar to SQL in terms of syntax, but it doesn't allow
JOIN
s, so you have to use a custom string to select the attributes that you want to return per result.
For more information, refer to the Unity Version Control (UVCS) CLI reference documentation for
cm find
or run
cm find --help
. To get a complete list of objects you can find, run the
cm showfindobjects
command.
