Publishers receive automated payouts for their Unity Ads earnings every month. Refer to the following article for details about these payouts.
Note
Unity Ads supports payouts in US Dollars (USD) only.

Monetization factors

Unity Ads generates revenue by displaying paid advertisements in your app. The more traffic and impressions your app creates, the more money you can earn. Unity Ads facilitates different campaign types with different billing points, for example:
  • Completed views
  • Clicks
  • Installs
Unity Ads always selects the highest-earning campaign to display to your users. Effective cost per mille (eCPM) is the amount of ad revenue advertisers can expect to earn from the ads played in their app. The average eCPM for Unity Ads depends on several factors, such as the following:
  • App platform
  • Geographic region
  • Player demographics
  • Ad Units
The biggest factor is the number of players who engage with your app. The Monetization strategy guide provides advice on maximizing revenue through strategic implementation.

Analyzing revenue

You can view statistics on your Ads monetization on the Unity Ads Monetization dashboard. Each time a video ad starts, it creates an impression. The targeting algorithms use thousands of impressions to determine user quality and start showing consistent revenue. For more information on how to use the dashboard to analyze revenue metrics, refer to the Monetization Reporting dashboard documentation.

Payout profiles

To receive payment, you must configure a payout profile for your Unity Ads earnings. Refer to the Complete your payout profile documentation for details on how to configure your payout profile.
Note
You must be the Organization Owner to check, create, or update the payout profile. For more information, refer to Roles and permissions in the Unity Cloud documentation.

Two-Factor Authentication

The dashboard uses a unique two-factor authentication (TFA) for the payout profile. Unity triggers this TFA when you make any changes to your payout profile payment method details. You configure the TFA when you complete your payout profile.
Important
The payout profile TFA isn't the same as the TFA used to sign in to the Unity Dashboard.

Publisher payments for Unity Ads bidding in Google mediations

When using Unity Ads as a bidder in Google AdMob or Google Ad Manager mediation, Google pays out all earnings from SDK bidding, not Unity. Unity only pays out earnings from Unity Ads placements. As a result, bidding revenue doesn't appear in the Unity Monetization Dashboard or Payments section. To review your payment details, refer to your Google account.
