Data Subject Request process

Learn the process for responding to Data Subject Requests from your users.

Because you own your Diagnostics data, you're responsible for actioning any user Data Subject Requests that you receive. Users can submit Data Subject Requests for any of the following:
  • Access to the Diagnostics data associated with their installation ID
  • Information about how their Diagnostics data is processed, used, and stored
  • Deletion of their Diagnostics data
Note
You need to be a Project Owner or Manager to access or delete Diagnostics data. For more information, refer to User types, roles, and permissions.
Responding to Data Subject Requests involving Unity Diagnostics data follows this process:
  1. The user contacts you with a request to access or delete their Diagnostics data.
  2. You request the user's installation ID.
  3. The user sends back their installation ID.
  4. You submit the Data Subject Request on the user's behalf through either the Unity Dashboard or customer support.
