Delete assets

Delete assets using the Trash feature.

You can delete assets from projects and collections. Assets remain in Trash for 30 days before they’re permanently deleted automatically. You can also permanently delete them from Trash at any time.

Prerequisites

You must have the Contributor role in a project to send assets to Trash.

Delete assets from your project

To delete assets from your project, follow these steps:
  1. In Asset Manager web, in the left navigation panel, open your project.
  2. Select the assets you want to delete.
  3. In the top menu bar, select the more (...) menu.
  4. Select Delete.
Your assets are sent to trash. You can use the confirmation message in the lower-right corner to Undo or View Project Trash.

Delete assets from multiple projects

To delete assets from multiple projects, follow these steps:
  1. In Asset Manager web, in the left navigation panel, select All Assets.
  2. Select the assets you want to delete.
  3. In the top menu bar, select the more (...) menu.
  4. Select Delete.
Your assets are sent to trash. You can use the confirmation message in the lower-right corner to Undo or View Trash.
Note
To delete assets individually, right-click the asset and select Delete.

Permanently delete assets from Trash

To permanently delete assets from the trash, follow these steps:
  1. In Asset Manager web, in the left navigation panel, select Trash.
  2. Select the assets you want to permanently delete.
  3. In the top menu bar, select Delete forever or select the delete icon next to the asset to delete individually.
Your assets are permanently deleted and can't be recovered.
Note
You can select Empty trash to delete all assets in Trash immediately.
