Work offline
You can work in offline mode (without a Wi-Fi connection) for up to 48 hours of runtime. After that, you must sign in while connected to WiFi to authenticate your account.
Features that require a Wi-Fi connection are not available in offline mode.
Remaining offline time is displayed in the VisualLive user menu.
Prepare for working offline
Do the following before you move to an environment without Wi-Fi:
Open VisualLive for Mobile.
On the Login page enter your credentials, ensure that Remember Me is selected. Tap Login.
Download the model(s) you intend to use offline.
- In the File Browser, on the Cloud tab, select your model file.
- Tap Sync. The file is downloaded and appears on the Synced tab.
Note: It is also possible to push a model directly to your device from the VisualLive plugin.
Do not log off. Close the VisualLive for Mobile app.
Start working in offline mode
Open the app in offline mode as follows:
- Open VisualLive for Mobile.
- On the Login page, select your profile and tap Offline Mode.
Navigate mode opens.
On the File Browser, only models on the Synced tab are available.
