Muting

Understand muting and blocking features in Vivox.

There are two types of muting in the Vivox SDK: muting a user’s microphone, and muting other users for a user.
  • How to mute a local user's microphone.
  • How to mute other users for a specific user.
You can also allow a user to prevent themselves from being heard by or hearing a specific user by implementing block functionality.
