This task is part of the end-to-end process for setting up the Unity Licensing Server.
When the license purchase is complete, the organization owner receives a welcome email that contains a link to claim the license. After the organization owner claims the license, follow these steps to download the setup file:
  1. Go to id.unity.com and create a Unity ID or sign into your existing account.
  2. Select Organizations in the left panel and do one of the following:
    • Select an existing organization for the subscription.
    • Select Add new to create a new organization.
  3. From the Subscriptions tile (or from Subscriptions & Services in the left panel), select the new subscription that uses floating licensing.
  4. Select Configure License Server.
  5. Select Download new server.
  6. Select the option that matches your server's operating system and select Download to save the
    Unity.Licensing.Server.*.zip
    file.
  7. Unzip the
    Unity.Licensing.Server.*.zip
file on a dedicated server. The target directory becomes the program files directory for your Unity Licensing Server. The suggested paths are:
    • Linux:
      /opt/UnityLicensingServer
    • Windows:
      C:\UnityLicensingServer
