Cloud Diagnostics

Migrate to Diagnostics in the Unity Dashboard

Migrate your crash and exception reporting from Cloud Diagnostics to the built-in Diagnostics service.
Read time 1 minuteLast updated 9 hours ago

Cloud Diagnostics is deprecated, and will be phased out in future versions of Unity. In Unity 6.2 and later, the built-in Diagnostics service replaces Cloud Diagnostics for the following services:
  • Crash and exception reporting
  • Debugging Symbols
User Reporting is available as a separate package that's compatible with Diagnostics in Unity 6.2 and later. For information about installing this package, refer to Unity User Reporting.

Migrate from Cloud Diagnostics

To migrate from Cloud Diagnostics to the built-in Diagnostics service in the Unity Dashboard, do the following:
  1. Access your existing Crash and Exception Reporting data in Cloud Diagnostics.
  2. Upgrade to a Unity version that supports the Diagnostics service, such as Unity 6.2.
For privacy reasons, Cloud Diagnostics data is retained for only 7 or 90 days, depending on which Unity plan you have. During this retention period, you can access your existing data, and download specific reports in JSON format. After you upgrade to Unity 6.2 or later, all new diagnostic data is available in the Diagnostics service in the Unity Dashboard.
