Use budget alerts for these purposes:
- Monitor your data usage of Unity Gaming Services
- Control your spend for your organization against a defined budget
Budget
A budget is a monthly spending limit that you set for selected services across all projects in an organization. To regularly monitor spending, define alerts for specific thresholds.
Alerts
Use alerts to control monthly spending and adjust your spending and usage. Alerts inform you when you're approaching a budget threshold or a free-tier limit.
Choose a tool for your alerts:
- The notification tray in the Unity Cloud Dashboard
- Slack
Free-tier alerts
Free-tier alerts inform you when you reach 75% and 100% of the free-tier limit for any Unity gaming service. You can't customize the usage threshold for free-tier alerts.
You can opt out of receiving free-tier email alerts.
Budget alerts
Budget alerts notify organization Owners when the organization reaches a defined budget threshold. If not explicitly defined, the default thresholds are 50%, 90%, and 100% of the budget.
Budget scope
Create multiple budgets for different sets of services:
You can't include the following services in the budget scope:
