Most modern Android devices have a hardware-provided acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) capability. If the target device provides hardware echo cancellation (HEC), then it can filter out all audio that is produced by the device from the capture device stream.

We recommend that you test the HEC configuration on all target Android devices.
