Presence

Learn how presence works in the Friends service to show players’ online status and activity.

Presence refers to both the availability and activity of a user. A user's presence availability is the status of a user. The status can be 
ONLINE
, 
BUSY
, 
AWAY
, 
INVISIBLE
, 
OFFLINE
, or 
UNKNOWN
. A user's presence activity is an object you can use to store user metadata. An example of a user's presence activity might include any recent actions the user performed in your application, such as starting a game match.
